Code with Claude & app updates
Code with Claude in SF was awesome! I even met Boris Cherny, the creator of Claude Code. This past week I shipped an update to the Android version of my Tuner App to bring it to parity with some tweaks I shipped with the iOS version 2 weeks back. Improved accuracy, improved tuning guidance, and better UI on a wider variety of Android device sizes. I also submitted my first Mac app to the Mac App Store for review. It's a feed reader called News App. I'm not quite sure if it will be approved because I have some sample RSS feeds I ship with it and they may flag licensing issues. However, there are many comparable apps live on the store, so I'm not quite sure. If they flag any issues, I can always just ship without a prepackaged set of feeds and let the user handle that all themselves. There's also a GDELT integration, Polymarket integration and some baked in news radio streams as well. It's going to be kickass. I have a few other apps in the pipeline and I'm actively brainstorming every 'free' day that I have. I've even built some App Store scraping/analysis tools that are helping me find opportunities for niche apps to build. I'm done shipping free apps now that I have some experience with the full end-to-end process. I have three days ahead this week to work on projects before our Ensenda cruise on the Carnival Luminosa. Life is good!
